About Shipping Preferences

Fulfilled by Amazon

Items "Fulfilled by Amazon" (FBA) are offered by a third-party seller, but shipped to you from an Amazon Fulfillment Center.

All Amazon standard shipping rates and policies apply to these items when shipped domestically, including free shipping on qualifying orders and Prime shipping. International shipping may not be available for all items.

When we ship your order, we list the carrier, ship date, and estimated delivery date for your package in Your Account, and in your shipment confirmation email. You can track your package in Your Orders.

Items Shipped and Sold on MAXSafes.com

In Stock

The item is in stock in at least one fulfillment center. We expect to prepare it for shipment within a few hours to a few days (depending on the shipping option you choose).

In stock but may require an extra 1-2 days to process

The item is available in at least one fulfillment center. We expect to prepare it for shipment within a day to a few days.

Usually ships in 1-2 days

The item will be ordered from a nearby distributor. We expect that it will be prepared for shipment within that 24 hours on a weekday and 1-2 days during weekends.

 

Not yet published/released or Available for Preorder

The latest release date information provided for the item will be on its product detail page. We'll ship it to you after the release date passes and the item becomes available for shipment.

Temporarily Out of Stock

This item is currently not in stock but it is available for ordering. We'll email you the expected delivery date as soon as that information is available from our suppliers.

Currently unavailable

This item isn't currently available for ordering and it may not be in stock again.

FREE Shipping

Your order will arrive within five to eight days. We process and ship your order in the most cost-efficient way possible so we can offer free shipping. If you notice that your items haven't shipped yet, don't worry. We may take a little longer than you expect to ship out your order, but we'll ship in time for the expected delivery date.

Delivery Information

If no one is at the address to receive your delivery, we'll leave the package in a secure location. If no secure location is available, or the delivery requires someone to be present, we'll email you. We make three delivery attempts on consecutive days. If the third attempt is unsuccessful, your package is returned to us and we'll issue a refund.

Tracking sometimes shows that we delivered your package but you don't have it. Check to see if the package is with a receptionist or neighbor. Deliveries occur between 6 am and 10 pm local time. To avoid disruption, our drivers only deliver between 8 am and 8 pm local time. For scheduled and signature deliveries, our drivers will call the phone number you provide. They won't deliver the package outside the schedule of 8 am to 8 pm unless they can contact you. Go to Find a Missing Package That Shows As Delivered for more information. If you check these places, and you still can't locate your package, contact us.

Access Codes and Delivery Instructions

If the delivery address requires an access code, provide this code before shipping via Manage Address Book. Locate the address you want to update, choose Edit, then provide the access code in Security Access Code. This information saves and applies to any future orders you place.

If you already placed your order, you can update your access code, request cancellation, or add delivery instructions for that individual order through Your Orders.

Note: Property managers can provide Amazon delivery and access information for their facilities via the Amazon Secured Delivery Access Tool.

Weekend Delivery Preference

When adding a new address, you can choose whether you want to receive deliveries on weekends under the Optional Delivery Preference menu. You can update this preference via Manage Address Book.

Notifications

If you sign up for Shipment Updates via Text, you also receive updates on your phone or other mobile device.

Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery

Place an Order with Guaranteed Delivery 

Place your order through your Shopping Cart to receive it by the guaranteed delivery date.

To place an order with guaranteed delivery:

  1. Add the item to your Shopping Cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. Choose a delivery address within the United States (including select addresses in Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and P.O. boxes, but not APO, FPO, or DPO addresses) or an eligible export country.
  3. On the checkout page, select the guaranteed shipping option. Your delivery date will state "guaranteed" and be displayed on the final page before you place the order.
  4. Pay using your credit card or debit card. If your order contains items that aren't eligible for a delivery guarantee, you may be prompted to select an option indicating you'd like to split up your shipments (at an additional cost). Your items will be ineligible for the guarantee if you don't select this option.
  5. Place your order before the "order within" countdown displayed on the checkout page.  The "order within" countdown timer provides the window of time in which you must place the order to receive your delivery by the date shown. That delivery date may become unavailable within that window because of changes in inventory or delivery capacity before you place your order. We'll state your confirmed delivery date in your order confirmation email. Contact usif you have any concerns.

1-Click orders, or orders placed with the "Buy Now" feature, may automatically receive guaranteed delivery in some circumstances. To determine if your order is eligible, proceed to checkout as described above.

Note: Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address or shipping options after you place the order might affect your eligibility for guaranteed delivery.

 

Delivery Guarantees

We offer guaranteed delivery on certain delivery speeds and select products. When guaranteed delivery is available on an order, we'll state this on the checkout page, with the associated delivery date and cost.

If we provide a guaranteed delivery date and a delivery attempt isn't made by this date, we'll refund any shipping fees associated with that order.

The "order within" countdown timer provides the window of time in which you must place the order to receive your delivery by the date shown. The delivery day may become unavailable within that time frame due to changes in inventory or delivery capacity before you place your order. Your confirmed delivery date is in your order confirmation email.
